Cultivating a Calm Classroom

Help me give my students a calm, relaxing classroom. With a calm corner including a comfy chair, and relaxing fidgets for those stressful moments, and a greenery wall to bring the outside in students can thrive.

My Project

As I return to the classroom, I am hoping to give the room a refresh to support my students learning. Research shows that students do better when their Social-Emotional needs are met. I am striving to create a calm, and welcoming space for all of my students by brining the outdoors in, and creating a "calm corner" for when students need a quick break to re-center.

All students should feel safe, calm, included and respected.

This project helps me lay the foundations for that environment in my classroom. Your donations will help support all students by providing a cozy chair, calming fidgets and activities and bringing in greenery to help liven up our bland, beige room.
