This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

A large area rug can significantly enhance student learning by providing a comfortable and inviting space for various educational activities. It offers a designated area for group discussions, storytelling sessions, and collaborative projects, fostering a sense of community and encouraging interaction among students. Additionally, the rug serves as a defined space for circle time activities, promoting engagement and participation. Its soft surface also creates a cozy environment conducive to focused reading and individual reflection, ultimately enhancing the overall learning experience for students.

One goal for using the large area rug is to facilitate collaborative learning and foster a sense of community among students through group discussions and activities.

My students are special and deserving of the large area rug because they possess diverse talents, perspectives, and backgrounds, creating a rich tapestry of learning experiences that can be enhanced through collaborative and inclusive classroom environments.
