My Project

Our class has been making blankets for CAT (Cat Adoption Team) for the last 2 years. The blankets are used in carriers in the shelter and are sent home with cats to give them comfort and security as they transition to their furever homes. My students love to tie these blankets and to share this knowledge with others.

Teaching others to make cat blankets is a true gift of friendship and community outreach.

We need more material to make blankets to give to our local shelter. We want to start with teaching our 5th grade buddy classroom and then branch out to other classrooms in the school. Together we can build a stronger community!
