This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I hope this message finds you in good spirits. I am reaching out to kindly ask for your support in acquiring a utility cart for our classroom, which will serve as the foundation for an innovative project: a rolling school store. As an educator, my primary goal is to create an engaging and practical learning environment for my students, who are a diverse, curious, and incredibly special group eager to learn about the world of commerce, mathematics, and social interactions in a hands-on manner.

The utility cart will be the cornerstone of our project, allowing us to set up a mobile store that can travel within the school premises.

This initiative is not just about teaching basic arithmetic or business skills; it’s about providing a platform for students to apply what they’ve learned in a real-world context. By managing inventory, pricing, sales, and customer service, students will develop a deeper understanding of economics, teamwork, responsibility, and the value of hard work.

What makes our students special is their resilience, creativity, and willingness to learn. Each child brings a unique perspective to the classroom, and this project will allow them to express themselves and contribute in meaningful ways. By supporting our us for a utility cart, you will be investing in the future of our students, providing them with an invaluable learning experience that goes beyond traditional classroom lessons.

Our goal is to launch the rolling school store by the start of the next academic quarter, and with your help, we can make this vision a reality.
