Help me give my students teachers external cameras, headsets, and tripods for live-streaming.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
We are a Title I school in the heart of Charlotte, North Carolina, made up of a little over 100 K-5 bright, wonderful students.
My technology and media classes are full of innovative thinkers, architects, makers, engineers, and scientists!
My students have loved the opportunities they've had thus far to plan, design, and create, and I want to feed that creativity as much as I can!
This school year will be our third year in operation, and I'm proud to be a part of a staff that strives to create as many opportunities to learn as possible for our students. Our students deserve the very best!
Your funding will help to bridge the gap to provide innovative resources and experiences for all!
Thank you so much for checking out my project! These items are essential to creating an unstoppable learning set-up for teachers and students.
Funding this project will confirm our students are receiving the best education possible while in their in-person/virtual learning rotation.
The plan for these items is two part. The first part is the external camera and tripod. The external camera will be used to live stream classroom learning (the Promethean board, whiteboard, and most importantly teacher) to the students on their virtual learning rotation. This set up will ensure students learning from home will have the same experience as those learning in person. They'll be able to clearly see their teacher and the educational resources they're using.
The second part of this plan is the Bluetooth headset that will be connected to the virtual learner's livestream. It is integral that the students learning from home can hear their teachers well while viewing the in-person classroom on their virtual rotation. This headset will ensure this AND allow the teacher to hear the student's questions clearly without interruption to those learning in-person.
Thank you again for checking out my project and supporting educators during this time of uncertainty! Your interest is appreciated!
