Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

As an elementary school teacher, providing a conducive learning environment goes beyond textbooks and classroom activities. Many of our students come from diverse backgrounds and face various challenges. One of the challenges we are currently addressing is the availability of nutritious snacks for our students. Every day, I am constantly bombarded with requests for food from my students.

Having access to these snacks and drinks can greatly enhance our student's ability to focus and perform well in class.

Unfortunately, not all of our students have the means to bring snacks from home, and we want to ensure that no child goes through the school day hungry.

Many students in the MS Delta face the harsh reality of poverty. However, with the help of your donation, you can make a real difference by helping to provide them with access to snacks during school.
