This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have a lovely large classroom but there is something missing: a rug.

A rug may seem like a simple thing, but for my younger students who have problems seeing the board or staying in their seats, this would allow them to, watch videos on the projector, take movement breaks, ie.

Be able to work on the floor, if needed. Also, have a calm area to cool down in, sit in a circle, and share projects with the class.

This would benefit especially my 1st and 2nd graders, who do a great job sitting in their seats but need such breaks. Will you help us dance?
