Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Students Leading Students (SLS) is a student led organization dedicated to a safe, healthy, alcohol and drug free school.

These dedicated students want to share important messages with their school and community via stickers, buttons, posters, bulletin boards, and t-shirts.

As the SLS advisor, I believe having a Cricut Maker and accessories would allow us to more creatively engage and reach our school. (Not everyone can draw!)

These Cricut items will improve my students ability to practice their leadership in a community that desperately needs it. In addition, the design skills they learn could lead to transferable job skills in the future.

Please help us take on topics such as mental health, personal hygiene, safe driving, and abstinence from sex, drugs and alcohol.
