My Students

Through the halls of our school comes much diversity and background. Beauty is found in our classrooms in all shapes, colors and sizes. This dynamic makes it important to work together as a community. I've always embraced this African Proverb: "If you want to go quickly, go alone; if you want to go far, go together."

At our school, we are learning how to walk together as teachers and students.

Students that are in need of extra help struggle daily to grow and progress. With the right tools, we can help them feel successful. Their education is important, and learning is crucial for their success in the future.

My Project

I just used a cricut machine for the first time and saw all the possibilities for our classroom! We can make cards for others that will help with writing instruction and we can also have really fun decorations in our classroom!

The possibilities with a cricut are endless!

With a cricut machine we can even make shirts for spirit days, and at a Title I school with families that come from struggling incomes this would help out our school community as well. We think this would be a really fun thing to include in our classroom!
