Creativity Is Contagious, Pass It On! -Albert Einstein
My students need various art supplies to help increase their imagination and creativity. These items will enhance their artistic creations that will, in turn, boost confidence and enjoyment of art time activities.
Preschool is one of the most important developmental stages for children. Within this first year of school, students acquire many skills that create the foundation for further learning. As a preschool teacher in a diverse community, my classroom is populated with many students who speak several different languages. Communication and socialization with others are two main goals in the preschool classroom. These skills are mostly taught through various types of play.
My classroom curriculum is theme based; the children are always actively engaged in expanding their communication, language, and interactions with their peers.
My Project
A preschool classroom should be filled with activities that help a child grow and understand themselves as individuals. Art projects at the preschool age, enhance a child's language and will prompt them to express themselves more clearly. Through art, they can learn the details of themselves, the people around them, as well as the environment in which they live.
Preschool students can respond to the unit of study concepts or stories read to the class through paintings, collages, and drawings.
Using materials such as colorful markers, paints and other add-on embellishments, gives the children more ideas and opportunities to create and then present their finished projects. This project gives students a chance to use their imagination as they manipulate these unique materials.
