Preschool is one of the most important developmental stages for children. Within this first year of school, students acquire many skills that create the foundation for further learning. Children at this age are learning to increase self awareness and independence as well as forming new relationships with others.These skills are mostly taught through various types of play. My classroom's main goal is to promote independence by creating an atmosphere that is student directed and open to exploration.
