Help me give my students some of the basic supplies they need to be proud of their projects and work we do all year long! Also, I am excited to replenish my aging supplies for indoor recess.
I have chosen items that will allow my students to work on their projects and posters throughout the year with pride, whether they came with all the materials we needed or not. I always provide a borrow area filled with basic materials like crayons, markers, and colored pencils. These materials add up quickly when families are purchasing back to school supplies and the extended colors are not something most parents have the money to provide.
We also have times for STEM once a week and the students are always excited by Legos.
I want to challenge them with some extra gears and other manipulatives to explore and create.
We also have a lot of indoor recess time in the heart of a SD winter. I am excited to refresh my aging games. This generation of kids need to learn the skills of playing a game with others live and take turns and learn sportsmanship. These classic games will provide the opportunity to work on these skills while having fun at the same time.
