This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

It is proven that students who do not read or write over the summer lose some of the skills taught during the academic school year. Come June, I would like to give my students resources to continue their love of writing throughout the summer because they love to free write.

Creative writing is fun!

These journals will assist with my students creative minds. Many of my students come from families where they are unable to purchase pencils and pens. This project will give my students the resources to be able to write during the simmer.
