My Project

My students are creative, curious, and full of ideas. I love watching them come into the art room excited to try something new. Some students are confident artists, while others are still learning to believe in their own creativity. Art gives all of them a place to explore, take risks, solve problems, and feel proud of what they can do.

Each item in this project will help my students learn and create in meaningful ways.

The light boxes will help students practice drawing, tracing, symmetry, design, and planning their artwork. The liquid watercolors, gel crayons, tempera sticks, paint daubers, glue bottles, and shrink art paper will give students new materials to explore as they learn about color, texture, line, shape, and creative expression. These supplies will also help build fine motor skills and give students more choices in how they make art.

The organization trays and paper storage will help keep student artwork safe and sorted between classes. Since I teach kindergarten through sixth grade, many projects are happening at the same time. These tools will help our busy art room run more smoothly so students can spend more time creating. The classroom printer will help me provide reference images, lesson materials, labels, and student resources right from the art room.
