My Students

My class is full of amazing students ready to learn! Our main focus this year is helping these students get caught up to grade level from the missed timed with COVID. We are doing this by having meaningful, hands on lessons that they can relate to and get excited about learning.

They are excited to learn and grow by doing real life experiences to become critical thinking citizens, amazing readers, and better mathematicians.

The biggest challenge we are facing is finding enough resources to help these students, especially the ones who are struggling with reading and language arts concept. They are eager to learn and challenge their thinking.

My Project

These students are eager to learn and get caught up from all the time out of the classroom with COVID-19. I never have had this low of a class that struggles with basic math and reading skills because most of these students lost 1/2 a school year to 1.5 school years in the classroom. They will need to use the basic reading and math skills that they learn in 4th grade throughout their whole lives.

By funding this project, you will help these students be on grade level with reading and math to be future community leaders, doctors, teachers, and so much more!

These students need the experiences that these activities will provide for them. It makes whole class, group, and individual instruction fun and meaningful. These students will get the help they need by playing games, learning the strategies and practicing the concepts taught in 4th grade.
