My Project

At my Fine Arts Magnet School I truly believe we have some of the most creative students in Chicago, maybe even the whole world (but I admit I am a little biased). Our goal is to give our students access to a wide variety of art supplies in our studio every year, but with 650 students, we go through art supplies quickly. Right now, our studio really needs a restock to make sure our students have everything they need to be creative.

In this project proposal, we are hoping to get art supplies for drawing, painting, collage, sculpture, and fiber arts (sewing, weaving, latch-hook).

These supplies will allow students to continue developing basic skills, but also learn some super fun new skills. We need great pencils and erasers for drawing, but also new supplies for ceramics and print-making so students can keep expanding their horizons and discovering new ways to make art.

At my school, I am fortunate to have one of the best communities are students, parents, and school staff. Thank you for al you do to support our young artists!
