Help me give my students supplies they use daily (and will need) on upcoming math projects. We are going to be diving in heavily into more hands on projects in the coming weeks!
LEGACY is a small and charming educational offering uniquely situated in the northeast corner of Livingston County. The school houses over 100 students from as many as ten different school districts. The school has earned the reputation as the “best” alternative option in the area.
LEGACY offers students an alternative method for earning their high school diploma.
Class sizes are small, with a low student/teacher ratio. Teachers are able to meet students’ individual academic needs.
Core academics are enhanced by instruction and support in other key areas, including: healthy choices, parenting, substance abuse awareness and career planning.
The program boasts on-site counseling, group support, academic tutoring and planning for successful futures.
My Project
These Bic Gel-Ocity Pens (the colored ones) are some of my students' absolute favorites (they always steal them from me) to use in class. Often, I have note/practice days in math, and these students like to make color-coordinated notes to keep organized.
I think it'd be nice to have a class set that can just stay in place in my room for them to use.
We have a lot of upcoming project-based learning in math class in the next few weeks, and these pens and pencils will definitely come in handy while students are taking organized notes, working on classroom assignments, and designing colorful projects to show off their math know-how.
