Creative Supplies Develop Creative Minds!

My students need various craft supplies, to help develop creative minds. My students with special needs work best with hands on experiences. We can give them experience with a handful of supplies to create a masterpiece.

My Students

I work with the youngest learners in an urban preschool setting. My students are a diverse group of young learners ages 3-5. Most come from high poverty homes. 78% of the students at my school qualify for free and reduced lunch.

I have students with special needs including communication impairments, students with autism, other health impairments, and students with motor concerns.

It is just a magical experience working with these students each day, and watching them grow. These students come to school eager to learn, and brighten my day.

My Project

We have been working throughout the year to have the students gradually use the art materials as a natural choice during work time.

We want them to put their mind to work!

Now everyone wants create during their work time! We love to see all the creative pieces, improved fine motor, interactive and social skills developing but we are running out of materials. We need more paint, play doh, googly eyes, paint brushes.

Your donation will help us improve our fine motor skills, creativity and love of art. . Picasso once said "Every Child is an Artist!" Please help us become artist.
