My students are a wonderful group of middle schoolers in need of more drawing supplies. Located in a northern suburb of Detroit, my students come from a variety of diverse and socioeconomic backgrounds.
My students are eager to learn and grow as people and artists every day.
They often see the art room as a place to be themselves and feel free to create. They are always looking for new and interesting ways to create more art. Our budget does not always allow unlimited supplies for their creative minds.
My Project
Help my students grow creatively by giving them a wider range of drawing materials. My students are always looking for more ways to grow creatively. Giving them access to higher quality and more range of drawing materials will help them to expand their creativity.
More materials to work with will give my students the freedom to expand their understanding of what 2D art is and how far it can go.
Our current supply is somewhat limited. With better quality colored pencils, pastels, and markers my students will be able to expand what they are creating. They can blend new colors and experiment with more interesting materials.
