Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are smart, creative and very inquisitive. They love learning new things and feeling the sense of accomplishment they get when they have learned something new. They are also extremely strong and resilient.

My students are special because the overcome huge odds just getting to school everyday.

Half of our student population is homeless. However, they are bright and excited to learn despite what trials they go through outside of our walls. They inspire me everyday to be the best teacher I can possibly be!

My Project

My students come from areas where it may be hard to see the beauty in their surroundings. I want to ensure that my classroom is beautiful and well kept so that they can feel special in a room that allows them to be creative in whatever way they feel most comfortable!

The students will have the ability to use the machine to create beautiful decorations for our classroom when we want, or need a change.

They may also use it when they see that the decorations have become old and are in need of being replaced. This will allow the students to use machines and technology that they may not have been able to previously.
