Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are beginning to create their own future, their country's future, as well as help shape my own future as an educator. Many of my students dream of creating a better world by helping one person at a time. They realize and experience the harsh realities of our community and the world we live in today but yet dream and work towards building a better global community. They take their studies seriously, help their peers, and positively communicate within their own world!
With your help, we can acquire the skills, tools, and positive reinforcements to help them reach their goals while creating a stimulating learning environment!
My Project
The requested materials and supplies for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go; We just need your help in getting everything through our door!
Students will be able to participate in meaningful conversations, engaging review games, and create unique inquiry projects with these new additions!
The whiteboards will be a great way of fostering a learning environment that promotes student engagement while allowing students to take ownership in their thoughts and participation! The art supplies will be used daily to help with interactive notebooks, map skills, amongst other project based assessments! The LED lights will help create an inviting and soothing environment to students by promoting a calm and safe classroom!
