My Project

My students are quite the artists! The love to draw, create, and paint! I love to give them multiple opportunities to be able to do these sorts of things but sometimes we run short on supplies! This age group is aways excited about magnetic tiles and it is a popular activity to participate in, however, we are in need of more tiles so that the students can work more independently with them!

Paint has always been something I hesitantly use in the classroom as it tends to be more of a messy activity, however, this group has done an amazing job!

I would love to continue to do painting activities with them while they are working on their tasks! It is much more engaging when they are painting characters, and settings from their stories that we work on. As we get into our bird unit I feel that painting would offer many engaging opportunities to learn about birds!
