Help me give my students arts and crafts materials such as Play-Doh, stamp pads, dot art paint, craft scissors, and paper punch shapes for indoor recess and centers time.
My students love to learn using hands-on reading, writing, and math materials.
I teach a wonderful group of kindergarten students who come from diverse backgrounds and educational experiences.
I have students with speech, academic, and behavior goals as well as English Language Learners in my classroom. For many of my students, this is the first time they have been to school or instructed in English. Some of my kindergarten students begin the year without knowledge of letters, numbers, or how to write their names. They are so eager to learn and quickly gain basic kindergarten skills, such as identifying and writing numbers and letters, counting, and writing their names. My students love to learn using a hands-on approach, where they learn through play. I love to see the excitement of my students when they learn something new!
My Project
My kindergarten students need art supplies for indoor recess and centers time. I am constantly restocking our craft materials because my students love to create art. This year I am needing more art supplies because it is not safe for my students to share these materials.
I love to see how proud my students are of their creations.
My students enjoy drawing, coloring, cutting, and gluing to create art. My students love to use fancy craft scissors and punch shapes out of paper. They get so excited when they get to use stamp pads and dot art painters. They are always making Play-Doh cookies and animals. They like to get their favorite art creations laminated to take home. My kindergarten students look forward to recess and centers time every day and these new art supplies will be greatly appreciated.
