My Project

I have been a teacher for over 15 years. Having art supplies at children's fingertips is so important. Arts and crafts help with children's fine motor skills and are also a great way to encourage creativity. My scholars love making things for their family at home. This project will allow my scholars to make holiday gifts at no cost to them to give to a loved one at home.

My students get to be creative, improve motor skills and display with pride their art.

Over the years when I bump into past students they always mention how their parents still have their project they made in my class. This year I am trying to have everything ready for all the holidays to give creative gifts throughout the school year. Having regular arts and crafts in the classroom also allows for my students to write about what they have created. Crafts can extend to all subject areas and makes learning incredibly fun.
