Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love how creative, curious, and collaborative my students are. They learn best when they are actively involved in the lesson, working together, discussing ideas, and creating visual tools that help concepts stick. Many of my students thrive when learning is hands-on and interactive rather than just notes and lectures.

The poster boards and Sharpies will allow students to create anchor charts together during our biology units.

These charts will be displayed around the classroom as student-made learning tools they can reference throughout the year. Creating the charts themselves helps students process and remember important concepts while also giving them ownership of their learning.

The Expo spray and wipes will help keep our whiteboards clean and ready for daily practice, group activities, and review games. The classroom timer will help students stay focused and manage their time during stations, labs, collaborative work, and classroom challenges. These resources will help create an organized, engaging, and student-centered learning environment where all students can succeed.
