Help me give my students fun activities to foster their creativity with magnetic blocks, Play-Doh, and how-to-draw books to use during art class center time!
I use centers in my PreK and Kindergarten art classes to let the students work independently while I work with a small group on art skills or a specific project. This allows for more one-on-one time with my students, which is tricky with large classes.
The centers for our art class should have materials that allow students to use their imaginations and also to collaborate with friends.
I love hearing them share ideas with each other, or making plans for building together. I'm designing centers that not only strengthen hands, but also working relationships with peers. Please consider filling up my center bins with fun! Thanks so much!
