Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students love the A for arts in STEAM. They enjoy creating models and representations of the world around them. No matter what the science or math standard is behind our lesson, the students have their favorite art mediums to use in representing it.
Paint sticks, water colors, ink, markers, and pastels are among the favorites for all grades.
Of course, with over three hundred students working on projects in my classroom each week, the students' favorite mediums are the ones I run out of each year. I'd be grateful for these favorite supplies to be replenished so my creative students can continue demonstrating their creativity through the end of the year.
