My Project
The best part of being a preschool teacher is the excitement my students have for learning. Each day they bring joy and wonder into the classroom. It's fun to plan and teach creative, engaging activities that build a variety of skills!
Arts and crafts activities provide young children experiences to build fine motor skills, eye-hand coordination, problem solving, listening and following directions, and self-confidence in their ability to accomplish a task!
Preschoolers love to be creative! They dive right in to projects that include things like glitter, feathers, pompoms, colorful craft papers, and chenille stems! Craft activities help them learn to be patient and task oriented. They learn it's okay to make mistakes but that they can persevere and succeed! Lessons using craft materials can focus on a variety of academic skills! Plus, all of these crafty materials just make it so much fun to be a preschooler!
I teach for a low income school program, and craft supplies are often too expensive to provide in my budget. I appreciate your generosity in considering a donation to my project! Thank you for helping me to provide these supplies so that my little friends can have fun being creative crafty learners building self-confidence!
