My Project

I work with a group of amazing and hardworking 5th graders. In 5th grade, we stress the importance of knowing your math facts. Students are pushed to have all math facts muscle memory. Knowing your math facts helps you in all areas of math and areas in the real world!

When students know their math facts, they feel more confident in other areas of math.

Mental math significantly improves a student's number sense.

With these electronic math practice tools, my students can practice their math fact skills independently. Using these tools instead of flashcards creates more accountability for the students to answer them correctly.
