Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I would like to develop a STEAM centered outdoor space primarily for the benefit of the students on our primary hall at Jane Edwards Elementary. Learning through the arts in the outside setting has consistently benefitted everyone involved.

High quality durable materials are what all students need particularly in an outdoor setting.

Both the garden easels and raised garden beds will lend endless opportunities to our outdoor observational paintings. New durable picnic tables will give us new spaces to draw pictures, read books, and enjoy quiet time in our beautiful surroundings.
