Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My loving students come from low income homes. Most of the school students are non English speaking students. About 80 % of the school population receives free or reduce lunch and breakfast. It would be so nice to come to school and have a nice learning environment. Some of my students live in a shelter. Some of my students share their bedroom with their whole family because several families live in a house that is supposed be for one family.

My Project

The addition and subtraction flip and solve math boards will inspire my students to flip their way to math mastery. The graphing flipboards help kids to survey their classmates on different subjects and graph their findings. Then the mathematicians will analyzed the data they have gathered.

These hands-on math manipulatives will create mathematicians of the future.

The tracing numbers set provides printing practice and encourages proper formation of writing the numbers correctly.

My students will have lots of fun at their math centers. They will be matching simple illustrations to correct number sentences. This is self correcting and will provide instant reinforcement.
