My Project

In Pre-K, art is so much more than making something colorful to take home. Every painting, print, collage, and sculpture helps children develop creativity, fine motor skills, problem-solving abilities, language, and self-confidence.

The art center is a place where my students can explore, experiment, and express themselves in meaningful ways.

After staying home with my children for several years, I returned to teaching and have been rebuilding my classroom one center at a time. While I've added many essentials, my art center still needs the tools that inspire creativity and support open-ended exploration.

This project will provide a variety of high-quality art materials, including paint, texture tools, rollers, dot painters, sponges, dough tools, stamps, tissue paper, glue, and a tabletop drying rack to organize and display students' masterpieces. These materials will encourage children to experiment with different techniques, strengthen fine motor skills, and express their ideas through creative play.

Many of my students are experiencing school for the very first time. Providing an inviting, well-stocked art center gives every child the opportunity to create, explore, and build confidence while developing skills that support future learning.

Your generosity will help transform our art center into a space where imagination can flourish. These materials will be used by my current students and many future classes of young artists. Thank you for helping my little learners create, discover, and shine!
