Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I am asking for a portable and adjustable standing desk that can be used for students to present their work to the class. Since I teach 2nd graders, they all vary in height, so this desk being adjustable will help the little ones feel capable and confident.

A standing desk for students to use when presenting and explaining their math strategies will help them feel confident in displaying their example for all to see.

Not only will this help students, but I can use this for daily instruction. As I work with the students as a whole, I project my lessons on my current document camera for students to follow along. Having a desk that I can move around as needed will help with maximizing student learning.
