This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help us procure supplies and tools that will help us create and maintain safe, welcoming, calm spaces for our students

We meet with students in our counseling spaces to teach social-emotional skills, build relationships and provide calming rooms for students to regulate; these tools help these spaces feel welcoming and safe.

Teaching tools and posters allow us to show students visual representations of the processes they are learning about within themselves, cards and fidgets provide tools to provide comfort and rapport building and the office supplies helps us keep things clean and welcoming.
