My Project

**Calm Minds, Curious Readers: Creating Spaces Where Every Student Can Thrive**

My fourth-grade classroom is a place where students are learning not only academic skills, but also how to manage emotions, build confidence, become independent learners, and discover the joy of reading.

I am creating two special spaces in our classroom: a **Calming Corner** and a **Reading Center**. The Calming Corner will give students a welcoming place to pause, breathe, reset, and use healthy strategies when they feel overwhelmed or need a moment to regroup.

The Reading Center will provide a cozy, inviting environment where students can explore books, build reading stamina, strengthen comprehension, and develop a lifelong love of reading.

With your support, these spaces will become more than classroom areas—they will become places where students can reset, recharge, read, and grow. Every child deserves a classroom where they feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.

Your donation will help me create an environment where my students can say, **“I have a place to calm my mind, a book to inspire me, and a classroom where I belong”.
