My Students

My students are amazing. They come to school prepared to learn and try their best to achieve our high expectations every day.

Our school is located in a low-income area with most students receiving free or reduced-price lunch.

Most of my students have limited resources outside of school, so our school may provide their only chance to experience enriching activities. My goal every year is to create an environment that is warm, safe, and welcoming while maintaining a fun, creative learning atmosphere.

My Project

I want to make a more coherent effort to make sure that all students have an opportunity to encounter art in their everyday life. To achieve this goal we need art supplies to creatively connect students to art, literature, and traditional history.

I am requesting craft kits such as gingerbread houses, picture frame kits, and ornament kits to help create an artistic outlet of expression.

Art helps makes any subject engaging and hands-on.

We will used the requested art supplies to reflect on our lives, what we are thankful for, create traditional gingerbread houses, and keepsakes for family and love ones. Students will be able to personalize their creations to share for years to come.
