My Project

Art drives students who need an emotional outlet for joy! Our students need to have a creative side to their education. All of the listed items, such as Cricut Autopress and markers, will help them individualize feelings and work on emotions and expressions. Our diverse population at our site needs to be able to have an outlet to express their true feelings.

Our Youth Camp is a school site for adjudicated youth who are juvenile offenders.

They live at our camp and attend school daily. Creating art helps my self-contained students express their emotions and helps them cope with daily living and learning skills.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
