This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have a wonderful class of kindergarten students eager to learn. My students are smart and have a sense of humor with big kind hearts! Most of my students come from low socio-economic areas. Our school is located across the border wall. Having these art materials such as canvas panels, paint and aprons in the class will help them create interesting art projects. Through the art, students will learn strategies to enjoy being calm and focus. It will help increase their academic and motor skills. It will help them be motivated to do better and to be creative.

Students will be able to create art that is unique, functional, and fun.

Students will be collaborating and sharing ideas. The art projects will be displayed and students will have the opportunity to explain the beautiful creations.
