Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The students in my classroom are eager to learn, passionate, and hard-working. They are an extension of my family; they inspire me every single day.
My classroom is a space where all my students feel welcomed, engaged, and inspired to do their very best work.
I have worked very hard over the years to help make my classroom space a place where my students want to come to school every day. I have giants walls that need some color, borders, and decorations that are pleasing to the eyes and draws in your attention.
My Project
I would like to transform my classroom to a space that my students and I want to hang out in all day. We spend 6 hours a day in our classroom, having new decorations and organizational tools will help us feel more comfortable and relaxed.
The classroom is our home, I want it to feel like home by creating a space that is visually appealing, engaging, and inviting for students.
The wallpaper, paper fans, and bulletin borders will help create visually appealing boards that can display student work and anchor charts. The rug creates a community space for us to gather in the morning and during lessons. The books bins will help my students organize their materials creating a space for each student. It is important to me that my classroom is a place my kids actually want to be and hang out in throughout the day, these materials can help me achieve this goal.
