Hello, my name is Mrs. Hennessey and I am a so lucky to be a 5th grade teacher. This is my sixth year teaching and I have loved every minute of it. I core teach with another teacher so I have the opportunity to see 64 eager to learn faces each day. My passions in teaching are providing students with the tools, spaces, and skills they need to succeed in the 21st century. I strongly believe that building a safe and supportive community in my classroom, and within our school is key to a student's success. I love teaching students how to work collaboratively, build a love of writing, and challenging students to reach their potential. I would use technology in the classroom every single day in every single lesson if I could. I feel so lucky to have a career that I love, that I can learn from it each day, and that I have the opportunity to change lives.
