My Project

My students live in a small rural area and due to the COVID- 19 pandemic our students have fallen behind in their writing skills. Using different modes of teaching such as an interactive whiteboard, a document camera, poster board, large Post It paper and correction tape will allow my students to work on different levels and in different capacities on their writing. Giving students a hands-on approach to writing will allow them to see how these skills can be used in their careers and in college. Writing skills are necessary to succeed in the classroom and in the real world.

Providing digital, and interactive materials for my students, will give these wonderful students the chance they need to be able to recover those writing and communication skills lost during the shutdown, due to COVID-19.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
