My Project

Music is more than notes on a page—it is history, creativity, culture, and self-expression. My middle and high school band students deserve a classroom environment that reflects the power of music and encourages them to learn, create, and grow.

The materials in this project will help transform our music room into an engaging learning space.

Music history and inspirational posters will introduce students to influential musicians and composers while reinforcing important lessons about perseverance and creativity. Decorative elements, lighting enhancements, and music-themed displays will create a welcoming atmosphere where students feel comfortable taking risks and expressing themselves through music.

In addition, music theory resources will provide hands-on learning opportunities that help students strengthen their understanding of rhythm, notation, and musicianship. Together, these materials will support student learning while making our classroom a place where students are excited to participate each day.
