Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My awesome 1st-3rd graders are loving learning and school. I am continuing my goal of making my classroom environment a place that encourages learning, development, and fun.

Organizing our classroom will support me in achieving this goal.

I am requesting various materials that support organization. I am requesting a pegboard system and pocket wall hanging baskets. These items will allow me to utilize wall space to store books, incomplete and complete work assignments and other items in the classroom. I am also requesting magnetic shelves. These will be used to store small items that children build, and want to save as well as dry erase markers, erasers and much more.

I am also requesting floor grippers to keep our tables organized, as they always seem to be sliding around the classroom. I find myself organizing them over and over each day.

Finally, I want to utilize our cubby space by creating shelves that I can use to store books, literacy and math materials. The adjustable locker shelves will achieve this in my Special Education Classroom.

Help us continue to get organized and support me in making my classroom a wonderful place to learn develop and have fun!
