My Project

Young children learn best when they have opportunities to be hands-on, explore, play, and construct knowledge. Developmentally, they need social play to build vital social-emotional skills. In order to teach effectively through play, teachers must be aware, prepared, and intentional. Play is a powerful teaching tool.

Having materials to support the play in many of my classroom centers is crucial for this age!

I am teaching in an integrated preschool classroom with children with and without special needs. For most of my 3-5 year olds, this is their first school experience. Having materials to support the play in many of my classroom centers is crucial for this age!
