Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are beautiful and capable children. They come from different backgrounds and fill our classroom with diversity, discoveries, and determination. Most of my students work below grade level, so creating durable learning materials and classroom resources can support and help them to meet their academic goals.

Laminating pouches, bottle holders, and erasable sentence strips would give me the opportunity to create a more sustainable classroom where we can reuse our most loved learning materials and make transitions more efficient.

Teaching students about sustainability, recycling, and less wasting will help children to better understand and take care of our natural environment.

Instead of using paper every time we need to complete work, with a laminating machine we can use the same work several times. Instead of using plastic bottles that would last one day. we can use reusable bottles that can easily fit in the bottle holders by their chairs. This way, my students will learn how to create an environment that supports present and future generations.
