Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

For many of my Pre-K students, this year marks the beginning of an exciting journey—their very first experience with school. They enter our classroom with bright smiles, curious minds, and a natural excitement for learning. As a Title I school, many of my students come from low-income families and may have limited access to educational resources outside of school. Despite these challenges, they are resilient, creative, and eager learners who bring unique personalities, endless curiosity, and incredible potential each day.

These classroom resources will transform our learning space into a welcoming, organized, and inspiring environment where young learners can thrive.

The window curtains, bulletin board materials, construction paper, Better Than Paper, clothespins, and storage bins will help create a classroom that encourages creativity, independence, and hands-on exploration. These items will allow students to proudly display their work, easily access learning materials, and feel a sense of ownership and belonging in their classroom.

My goal is to create a safe and engaging space where every child feels valued, supported, and excited to learn. These resources will help build a strong foundation for academic growth, confidence, and lifelong learning while making their very first school experience joyful, meaningful, and unforgettable.
