Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are struggling readers who work hard everyday to improve and learn. A majority of my students are diverse learners from low socio-economic backgrounds. Books are a luxury in their household, and reading everyday is crucial to increase their reading ability.

These books are high interest, young adult novels that will help my students by motivating them to read as well as help them learn a love for reading.

My students are required to read at least 5 novels a year and complete book projects after completing the books. My students are eager to read and motivated to increase their reading scores.
