My Project

Our Pre-K through first-grade students are growing, learning, and building memories together every day. We want to create a special shared space where our youngest learners can collaborate, build friendships, exercise, and experience the joy of working together as a school community. A mini football field would give our students a place to explore movement, teamwork, cooperation, and healthy physical activity through hands-on play.

With access to footballs and a mini football field, students will have opportunities to practice throwing, catching, running, balance, coordination, and gross-motor skills.

More importantly, they will learn how to share space, take turns, encourage one another, solve problems together, and be part of a team. For our youngest students, learning through active play is an important part of their development.

Our hope is that this will become more than just a football field. It will be a common gathering place where Pre-K through first grade students and staff can come together, play together, and celebrate our school community. Each time our students step onto the field, we want them to experience the values of teamwork, perseverance, kindness, and courage—values that reflect the legacy of a leader who has given so much to our school.
