Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are excited to bring more flexibility to our classroom through improved seating options and resources for sensory breaks. Our students have diverse sensory needs and benefit from having choices that support their learning. Some prefer standing, others feel more comfortable sitting on the floor, and many focus better when they have something to fidget with.

Our goal is to create a flexible and supportive environment that accommodates the unique needs of all our students.

This project will provide our students with the flexibility they deserve. The kidney table will allow us to work with small groups during intervention blocks, while the counter-height table will give students the option to stand or fidget as they engage in group work. For students who prefer sitting on the floor, lap desks will provide a comfortable and functional workspace. The island cart will serve as a mobile projector stand, making it easier to adjust visuals for all students. Additionally, the speakers will ensure that every student can clearly hear the instructional videos we use daily.
