Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

For many of my kindergarteners, school is not just a place to learn—it’s a safe, consistent space where they spend much of their day. This project will help transform our classroom into a bright, comforting, and inspiring environment through cozy decorations like bulletin board sets, calming wall art, and simple organizational tools. My goal is to make sure every student walks into a space that immediately says, “You belong here.”

A thoughtfully decorated classroom can have a huge impact on how students feel and how they learn.

When children feel safe, seen, and comfortable in their surroundings, they are more likely to stay engaged, manage their emotions, and connect with their peers. Your support will help me create a space where students feel at ease and excited to come to school each day—a place that nurtures both academic growth and emotional well-being.
